Probably because it does not have a built in SD Digital Tuner! According to these specs. Guess that is the way to go! Presently sold in the discount stores for around $500 Won't pick up SBS Digital. Rang the importer.' Mmmm, oh well, take it back, get refund.' Hope I am wrong but it does sound like a reception problem. Once hooked up the Conia SD STB has no problems receiving channels whereas the Diginet failed. Gave the Diginet PVR to a mate and took his Conia SD STB. I am using a Topfield PVR these days and bought the Diginet SD PRV out to another room and it had trouble picking up a decent signal from a different antenna. (only the buttons on the side of the unit work) Take it back and say the remote is faulty. It is not the strength of the digital signal you receive is it? Won't change input via the remote.
